Syrian opposition speaks out, judge rules on New York church-school issue, domestic manufacturing slows

Syrian opposition has expressed dissapointment in Western efforts to topple Syrian President Bashar Assad. A U.S. District judge has issued a permanent injunction allowing churches to meet in New York City public schools during off hours. In economic news, U.S. manufacturing slowed sharply in June, marking the end of three years of growth.
